It was nice to start winding down this week. I feel like when I have more time to spend planning my stations and reading lessons. I really enjoy reading the most. I have realized that throughout the semester. I used to think I liked math a lot (I was actually going to specialize in it for the first 3 years). But, when I started teaching it, I found that it was such a challenge. I think it's just hard for me to explain math in more than one way. I think I struggled with that when I was growing up. I know it'll get better when I have more experience with it, but it's challenging as of now. I have also realized how much I love working with literacy. I love working with my students who struggle with reading to help them learn their phonics skills. I am hoping to complete my reading masters after I graduate. This will hopefully allow me to work with students' specific needs in reading. I'm very much looking forward to it.
